Flanger
White key 6. A swept short delay with feedback: the jet sweep, a chorus, or at the top a vibrato.
| Knob | Page 1 | Page 2 |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Rate: 0.02 Hz to 50 Hz (default 0.55 Hz) | — (its Amount is its mix) |
| 2 | Feedback: up to 85% (default 42.5%, the knob at half) | Stereo: the right LFO runs free and detuned (default off) |
| 3 | Amount: sweep depth and how much you hear of it, together; the top is pure vibrato (default 0, off) | Band |
| 4 | Polarity: the feedback positive (metallic, the default) or negative (hollow), two steps | Level |
- Amount: one knob sets both the depth and how much of the swept sound you hear: around the middle it flanges and chorus-sweeps, at the top it’s all delayed signal, a vibrato.
- Pressing the key restarts the sweep from the centre.
- Feedback goes through the swept delay, a classic flanger’s resonance.
- A ~12 ms delay, swept up to its full length either way by a triangle LFO.
- LEDs: the key is light blue; the knobs go light blue to purple.
